DIY An air compressor

Compressor is the source of air needed to Airbrush. My site will provide the leadership to build an efficient compressor in an oil bath. Just take a ride on the web and see the prices of these compressors, much better than a diaphragm, so quiet that it can be used even at night, without causing nuisance to neighbors. With a little handly abilty we can get a compressor fully equivalent to one in trade with the extreme advantage of having drastically reduced the budget necessary.

The compressor will consist of an used engine (this is the only piece used among all needed materials ). It will be connected to a series of pipes and fittings

I made two types of compressor, the first is of medium difficulty made, you can have a good compressor without the need for a reservoir. It requires a certain manual and especially a minimum experience with electricity.

The second type of compressor uses instead a tank and a pressure switch that allows the ignition switch off automatically the engine. To achieve this configuration you need a good technical and manual knowledge .

WARNING: Any reservoir compressor needs the specific European standards for security, called PED. Be very careful in choosing the tank and all components.
